GC-FID Peak Detection does not work

Hi, I'm able to open my GC files without a problem, but how can I get the software to find and integrate the peaks automatically? This works fine for my GC-MS files.
Attachment suffixes should be changed to .xy

Upon investigating, I think you are hitting a bug/regression actually. As a workaround, do right-click Chromatogram Classifier → Noise Calculator (Chromatogram) with Segment Width 5 and Noise Calculator Dyson. Then do Peak Detectors → First Derivative as you would with GC-MS.

Actually, not a bug, but a data processing problem. The baseline drift is irritating the first derivative peak detector, which is looking for slopes. Do Baseline Detectors → SNIP and then Chromatogram Filter → Baseline Substract. Afterward the peak detector works with default settings.

Thanks for the quick reply, both methods are useful, personally I feel the second one works better!
Also, do you have any good suggestions for parameter settings for Peak Detectors for this chromatogram?
