Hi there - got System Settings / Display and change the "When connected to TV" option to fix this behavior. |

I did set this and it is set to use as extended display however it still makes me choose every day. Is there a way with BetterDisplay to edit the monitor to tell the mac os that this is a monitor not a tv? |

Every time i turn on or wake from sleep what i use as my primary display always shows full black with the message Choose to Mirror or Extend Display from the menu. This a a M2 Max with a Dell 43" plugged in via USC C dock. This was not an issue until the update to Sequoia. There are no issues with the display once I choose to extend and then go into display and set the resolution up to 4K and then have to arrage the display back to the correct placement. It gets old doing this every day.
I was hoping that useing BetterDisplay somehow would be able to make it stop doing this. Any suggestions?
