Hi @Zaira-Zafroon, yes, you should get the exact same abundances. I do not think multithreading RNG does anything weird, and the algorithms should be deterministic. |

Hi everyone,
I have a question regarding Sylph: If I input the same reference database and identical metagenomic samples in separate runs of Sylph, should I expect the output taxonomic abundances to be exactly the same each time? Or is there any possibility of slight variations in the results between runs?
I was expecting slight variations, but my results on duplicated runs show the same abundances.
