I am from Odesa, Ukraine. As soon as circumstances allow, I would gladly return to my usual way of living between Odesa and Berlin.

In my spare time, I contribute to Swift and its standard library. I’ve made more than 100 improvements, many of them in documentation comments - ensuring example code snippets compile, run, and stay in sync with the evolving codebase.

I’ve also worked on minor optimizations in the Swift standard library, such as reducing redundant buffer initialization and avoiding unnecessary intermediate object creation. In addition, I contribute to swift-corelibs-foundation, which sometimes requires cleanup and refinement. I am proud that this PR of mine inspired further changes by Apple engineers that improved the performance of Decodable JSON parsing.
