Differences between hint and tooltip?

I was checking tooltip:

but I don't see much difference in terms of UI. I need to do a big refactor and I was thinking to just use tooltip but I saw also hint and I wasn't 100% sure of using the first

Hint is a directive, tooltip is an icon with hint directive

so for normal tooltips I can just use hint

If you want to put hint on something other than an icon - you go for hint, if you want to show this thing with a bubble on hover, use tooltip:
