Support long object titles in Signal and Image panels

Currently, signal and image panels have a fixed maximum width, and no horizontal scrollbar.

Two options:

1. Add an horizontal scrollbar (seems mandatory)
2. Allow the signal/image panel to be extended horizontally, without the current width limitation
