Detailed description of the problem

In v6 layout can't see share (social) button for image, for album only.
In v6 layout can't see map at all.
In v6 layout language changes have no effect, nothing is translated.

Then install without v6 layout.
Sharing an album available on Facebook is without a preview.
Sharing an public image on Facebook: shared link gives error 500 HttpException Target class [redirect-legacy-id] does not exist.
Images with gps coordinates are not visible on the map.
The mod frame setting "1" is not effective, the mod frame icon is not visible so the function cannot be used in this way.
It can also not be used through the link ../frame/....

Steps to reproduce the issue

Install with v6 layout

1. Go to settings

2. Change laguage to "pl" then save

3. See language no changes

4. Go to public album

5. Click image

6. Go to toolbar

7. See no "Share" icon

8. Go to any album

9. Go to toolbar

10. See no "Map" icon

Install without v6 layout

1. Go to public album

2. Click image

3. Go to toolbar

4. Click share

5. Click facebook

6. See shared error link

7. Go to public album which contains images with GPS data

8. Go to toolbar

9. Click "Map"

10. See no images on map

Hi, (still in bed but quick first answer)

For the language, I'm currently refactoring the settings page, that will be fixed. At the moment, the only way to switch is to go to "All settings" and change it there.

That being said, in version 6.3 we had a localization reset, so you would not see the difference (unless you choose Chinese Zh). See release notes.

Localization Reset !

With the version 6, a lot of the strings were still hard coded in the front-end. We have now moved all the strings to the back-end and we have had to reset the localization. This means that all the strings are now in English and you will have to re-translate them.

If you would like to help us have a look at your language files in the resources/lang folder and submit a PR. Please ignore the lychee.php file as it is the Legacy file and will be removed in a future version.

For the map, I'll check, it might be the same problem.

Will not be fixed. The non-v6 layout is going to be completely removed in the future. It is in the legacy folder of the code base, which is why we are running two sets of tests, one is literally with that folder removed.

Hummm, that is the code that determines whether the button is visible (i.e. enabled + photo with gps data).

to make sure that GPS data is not lost , I downloaded the photos from the lychee album and checked - the GPS data is still there .
