Only visible data can be copied from the serial Monitor window, marked text off-screen is ignored

Describe the request

Exactly as in #2098 ("Closed as not planned") which is split off from #812 ("locked as too heated and limited conversation to collaborators"), I too am missing a function to copy everything from the serial monitor console, which is currently not possible, while stitching output together manually (an EEPROM dump in my case) is highly annoying and prone to error.
Since I cannot simply add "+1" to one of the previous feature requests that already deal with this issue - here's another one that you can close right away and ignore forever.
Other people already created duplicates because apparently this missing feature sucks for everyone.

@mbuchwald-atg it is irresponsible to knowingly create duplicate issues. The resources available to maintain this free open source project are limited. The time we waste triaging this issue is time we can't dedicate to the work that will improve Arduino IDE.
