Description

This PR adds CCProxy to the Tooling section of the awesome-claude-code list.

What is CCProxy?

CCProxy is a universal API translation proxy that enables Claude Code to work with any AI model - from cloud providers like OpenAI, Gemini, Groq, OpenRouter to local models via Ollama. It features intelligent routing based on context length and custom rules, plus full streaming support.

Why add CCProxy?

  • Universal Compatibility: Allows Claude Code users to break free from vendor lock-in and use any AI model
  • Local Model Support: Enables running local models with Claude Code via Ollama integration
  • Active Development: Regular updates and strong community support
  • MIT Licensed: Open source and free to use

Changes

This PR adds only one line to README.md in the Tooling section, following the existing format.

Thank you for maintaining this awesome list!

Add CCProxy - a universal API translation proxy that enables Claude Code to work with any AI model including OpenAI, Gemini, Groq, OpenRouter and local models via Ollama.

Hey @praneybehl really appreciate you taking the time to submit this. It looks like a really well-written codebase, and a really useful project. I don't think I can post it at the moment tho.... basically, I'm not convinced that this type of library is in compliance with Anthropic Terms of Service for Claude Code. It's the reason I decided I ought to pull down Claude Code Router as well... I hope you see my difficulty, I'm not affiliated with Anthropic in any way, but this whole repo is very much to do with something that's their trademark and IP, and I have to be a little mindful. Feel free to help yourself to a "mentioned-in-awesome-claude-code" badge if you like (see CONTRIBUTING.md) - maybe I'll be convinced otherwise or "loosen up" a little but right now I don't want to promote anything that seems maybe against ToS.
