First class MCP

Problem

Right now to get MCP support we have to go through https://github.com/sigoden/llm-functions/tree/main/mcp/bridge.

This involves an entirely seperate project, with its own setup/deps and a lot of irrelevant features.

Solution

I would love to see first-class support for MCP in aichat configuration.

Explanation

• Protocol is becoming industry standard way to connect LLMs to external world, with thriving server ecosystem
• aichat is by far the best CLI client for LLMs, so anyone that is invested in MCP (which is many) and also wants a good terminal experience will run into this issue.
• Many other tools are adopting first class support

Also a clear statement in terms of "api" stability would be good. For example will tools always need to be written and registered the way they are?
