A Modern Financial SaaS Platform

  • VeroBanking is a fully functional online banking platform built with Next.js. It's designed to provide users with a secure, real-time, and comprehensive solution for managing their finances. By connecting to multiple bank accounts, it offers a single-dashboard view of all financial activities, making money management effortless and insightful. -This project is built as a complete, self-contained application, demonstrating best practices in full-stack development, including secure authentication, robust data management, and a highly responsive user interface.

  • Ultra-Secure Authentication: An ultra-secure SSR (Server-Side Rendered) authentication system with proper validations and authorization to ensure user data is always protected.
  • Multi-Bank Account Connectivity: Integrates with Plaid to allow users to link multiple bank accounts from different financial institutions.
  • Unified Dashboard: The home page provides a general overview of a user's financial health, including a total balance from all connected banks, recent transactions, and categorized spending analytics.
  • Comprehensive Bank List: View a complete list of all connected banks, along with their respective balances and detailed account information.
  • Detailed Transaction History: A dedicated page with pagination and filtering options for viewing the complete transaction history across all linked accounts.
  • Real-time Updates: The application reflects changes instantly when a new bank account is connected, ensuring data consistency across all relevant pages.
  • P2P Funds Transfer: Allows users to securely transfer funds to other platform users using the Dwolla API.
  • AI-Powered Financial Insights (Planned): Future features will include AI models to provide personalized financial insights, fraud detection, and automated transaction categorization.
  • Responsive Design: The application is built to be fully responsive, providing a consistent and seamless user experience on desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.

Frontend

AI / Machine Learning

  1. TensorFlow.js / PyTorch (Planned): To be used for building and running AI models directly in the browser or on the server.

🚀 Getting Started

Clone the repository:

git clone [repository-url] cd NextBank

Install dependencies:

npm install

Set up environment variables:

Create a .env.local file in the root directory.

Add your API keys and credentials for Plaid, Dwolla, and Firebase.

Run the development server:

npm run dev
