Linux, Arch - rolling release; everything is up to date
rockdb, particularly librocksdb-sys, will take a lot of time to compile only to eventually fail with a strange, long error.

I’m not familiar with Arch Linux. This sounds like a RocksDB compilation error, which you could probably check for on RocksDB GitHub. I believe this is not related to Sonic itself.
